We were built to close a gap: there was nowhere in the province for animals recovered from illegal trade to safely go.

President
A practicing media professional associated with PTV News as Anchorperson, Current Affairs, and host of ISPR transmissions in the south. As founding chairman of LIFES he leads the organisation from concept to completion, guiding on-field operations — from habitat construction to wildlife integration — alongside the strategic functions that keep delivery on track.
General Secretary
An entrepreneur and business woman. As CEO and co-founder of LIFES she leads strategic management and financial oversight of the organisation, ensuring operational efficiency, sustainable growth and effective resource allocation. Driven by a passion for wildlife preservation, she aligns financial strategy with the mission to protect and restore native ecosystems.
Joint Secretary
A passionate social entrepreneur with extensive experience in operations and marketing. Known for his compassionate nature, he is deeply committed to animal welfare and also runs a small refuge dedicated to the care and protection of birds.
